This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the App after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

1. Information We Collect and How

We collect several types of information from and about users of our App, including information:
  • by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number or any other identifier which is deemed personal information under various laws, rules, and regulations applicable to this policy ("personal information");
  • that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies; and
  • about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the App, and usage details.
1.1 Registration information

When you sign up for our App, you will be asked to provide and we collect certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, and phone number. For some of our services, we may collect certain demographic data, such as age and gender.

1.2 Billing and payment information

When you transact with the App to make a purchase or give a donation, we may collect payment and financial information, such as your name, email address, physical address, and payment method. All purchases are made and maintained through a third-party vendor.

1.3 Information and content you post

You also may provide information, materials or content to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") on public areas of the App or otherwise through its interactive service, or transmitted to other users of the App or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). User Contributions may include usernames, screen names, comments, likes, interests, status, and pictures. We may also collect audio or visual content, such as photos, videos, or recordings you choose to post, or when enabling App access to your camera or microphone while using interactive features of the App. Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages to registered users, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the App with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

1.4 Market or customer service research

When we conduct or sponsor market or customer service research activities, such as surveys and product testing, we may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, and certain demographic data, such as your age, gender, race, and ethnicity.

1.5 Your messages and feedback

We may collect information you provide when you contact us directly, or provide feedback, comments, or suggestions on our services. We may ask for additional information if you report a problem with the App.

1.6 Information you provide about others

For some of our features, services, or offerings, like when you refer a friend or relative or invite them to donate, attend an event or program, we may collect information you provide about others, such as names and email addresses. Please ensure that you have obtained the necessary consent prior to sharing this information with us. In instances involving a minor, it is imperative that you possess the appropriate legal authority to do so. Failure to have proper authorizations and/or consents may result in legal action.

We may collect information about you and the services you provide, such your or your employees' business contact information, and any other information you provide.

1.8 Usage Information

We may automatically collect certain information about your use of the App, such as your IP address, device information, operating system, browser type, and usage patterns when using the App. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the App, track users' movements, and gather demographic information for aggregate use.

1.9 Location Information

With your consent, we may collect and process information about your precise location through various technologies, such as GPS, Wi-Fi, or mobile network signals. This information is used to provide location-based services and enhance your experience with the App. If you access the App through a mobile device, we may also be able to identify the location of your mobile device. You can set your browser not to accept cookies, however, in some cases, some of our App features may not function as a result.

As is true of most websites, we may use gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

1.11 Third party analytics

Third party analytics service providers may receive data regarding your usage of our App in order to provide analytics services to us. If you elect to opt-out of such data collection (to the extent available) and subsequently use our App through a different device or otherwise change your cookie or privacy settings on your device, you will need to opt-out again.

3.6 Purpose Provided

We will provide your information to other third parties for the purposes you have provided it, such as when you participate in an interactive service that a third party operates or if you give us an email address to use the "email a friend" feature of our App, we will transmit the contents of that email and your email address to the recipients.

5.1 Opt-Out

You have the right to opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us. You can exercise this right by following the instructions provided in the communication or by contacting us directly. Even though you opt out of receiving marketing or promotional messages, we may still send messages via text or email about not-marketing information about your account, the services you requested or purchases you make.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. In some instances, we may be unable to delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you delete your User Contributions from the App, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other App users. Proper access and use of information provided on the App, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.

Residents of certain states, such as California, Nevada, Colorado, Virginia, and Utah may have additional personal information rights and choices.

5.3 Do Not Track

Some web browsers may have a "Do Not Track" feature that allows you to inform websites that you do not want your online activities tracked. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

5.4 California and Other Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information. California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section ยง 1798.83) permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
